He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Nickman and Clara Nickman; and his siblings, Bernice Howard (Donald), Marian Pitman (Robert) and Elias Nickman Sr. (Vera).
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, James Jr. (Heather) of Uniontown, Dr. Julie Petrie (Matthew Petrie) of Mt Lebanon and Jacob (Sandra) of Mt Lebanon; his grandsons, Alexander, Gabriel, Benjamin Petrie, Jacob and Andrew Nickman; and his pets, Lincoln, Luna, Lola and Lucy. He is also survived by his many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Saint George Maronite Catholic Church.
