He was predeceased by: his mother Cecilia Mary Coddington Cabot; his wife Rebecca June Paciga Cabot; his son Joseph Cabot, Jr.; and his brother Samuel Cabot, Jr.. He is survived by: his father Samuel Cabot, Sr.; his daughter Angela Hersh (Angie); his grandchildren, Matthew Hersh (Kennedy) of Buffalo, NY and Allison Dempsey (Caleb); his great grandchildren, Emerson Grace Hersh and Callen Ray Dempsey; his brother Michael Cabot (Carol) of Uniontown; and his grand-pets, Dixie, Mia and Buddy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home & Crematories, Inc. (80 Morgantown St, Uniontown, PA 15401). Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Therese de Lisieux Roman Catholic Church (1 Av. Jean XXIII, 14100 Lisieux, France).
The family suggests donations to St. Judes Children Hospital and Shrines Hospital.
