He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Ewart and Dora Fitzpatrick Ewart; his wife Patricia Chick Ewart; and his siblings, Robert Ewart, Barry Ewart and Nancy Springer.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Ewart (Teresa) of Mifflinburg, PA, Kelly (Jospeh Jacobson) of Flatwoods, PA, Kevin Ewart (Christine) of McClellandtown, PA and Brian Ewart; his grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Matt, Ashlyn, Josh, Marc, Emily and Ashley; and his sisters, Lila Ewart of Uniontown, PA. and Shirley Kolesar of Uniontown, PA.. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM.
