He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Richards, Jr. and Helen M. Frost Richards; his siblings, Billy Richards, Thomas E. Richards, III, Connie Rovere, Darlene Richards and Marlene Baird; and his son-in-law Regal Polk.
He is survived by: his wife Georgeanna Soom Richards; his children, Louis "Rusty" Richards, Jr. (Angela), Jamie Richards Polk (Jamie Ray) and Mindi Carter (Shawn); and his grandchildren, Latrelle Polk, Jamier Ray, Bria Richards, Allie Richards, Landon Carter and Grayson Carter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home & Crematories, Inc. (80 Morgantown St, Uniontown, PA 15401). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
