She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Grote and Cecelia Grote (Miller); her husband Alvin Herring; her daughter Cheryl Maher; and her siblings, Charles Grote (Dorothy), Raymond, Herbert Grote (Jane), Gilbert Grote (Thelma), Eugene Grote (Eleanor), Vincent Grote (Loretta) and Genevieve Garbutt (Jack).
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hart (Phil) and Brian Herring (Mary); her grandchildren, Angela Ankrom (Jason), Jeff Cech, Craig Herring (Laken) and Kelsie Pegram (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Sydney, Chase Ankrom, Daxon and Finley Herring; and her sister Loretta Grimes (late Bill).
