Stanley Bernard Sobek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stanley Bernard Sobek in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 8, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sobek and Nellie Sobek (Gancos); his wife Joyce Ann Sobek (Karlyak); and his son Jonathan "Mush" Sobek. He is survived by: his daughter Juliann Braddock (Alex) of West Brownsville, PA; his sister-in-law Kathy Carlson; his cousin Walter Sobek; Henry, Frank, Anna, Pete, Stella and Ted. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Colonial #3 Athletic Club – Jonathan "Mush" Sobek Memorial Scholarship Fund, in honor of both Stush and his son's memory.
