He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Slavic, Sr. and Anna Zelenak Slavic; his wife Rose Dragone Slavic; and his sister Barbara Ritucci. He is survived by: his children, Richard Slavic (Katherine) of Morgantown, WV, Pamela Pokorny (Mark) of Uniontown, Kimberly Slavic Roche (James Kubacki) of Smithfield and Denise Slavic of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Kevin Slavic, Jennifer Bokan (Greg), Jessica Shane (Cody), Megan Roche, Sarah Myers (Eric) and Jacob Stephan (Kaitlyn); his great grandchildren, Parker, Anna, Colin, Eli and Callan; and his brother Ronald J. Slavic of Uniontown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home & Crematories, Inc. (80 Morgantown St, Uniontown, PA 15401). Viewing will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church (50 Jefferson St, Uniontown, PA 15401). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM.
