Amanda will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Amanda by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Amanda is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Amanda’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her mother Carlene Peterman (Gordner); and her brother-in-law Edwin Leibensperger. She is survived by: her father Michael Peterman of Laporte; her mother-in-law Debbie of Laporte; her siblings, Nathan Peterman (Lacy) of Muncy, Olivia Leibensperger of Bloomsburg and Shannelle Peterman of Cogan Station; and her stepbrother Danny Morrison (Brittany) of Laporte. She is also survived by three nieces; three nephews; a great-niece; and three great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hughesville Funeral Home & Cremation Services (5069 US-220, Hughesville, PA 17737). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Amanda's name be made to the funeral home, to help defray final expenses.
