Ruth E. Poust Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth E. Poust of Unityville, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin A. Poust, Sr.; her parents, Earl Temple and Edna Temple (Everett); her son Steven Poust; and her brother Guy Temple.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Mullen (J. B.) of Dushore, Franklin Poust, Jr. (Sherry) of Lewisburg, K. Wayne Poust (Shari) of Montoursville and David Poust (Robin) of Stevensville; her daughter-in-law Lisa Poust of Hughesville; and her sister Mary Gray of Hughesville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home - Hughesville (557 E Water St, Hughesville, PA 17737). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
