She was predeceased by: her parents, Wheeler Gibson and Marian Gibson; her siblings, Marylou Capelle, Lawrence Gibson, Robert Gibson and Gregory Gibson; her sisters-in-law, Linda Gibson, Kathleen Gibson and Joan Parks; and her friend Alvina "Niney" Barnard.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Schwenger (Chick); her children, Lorraine Battaglia (Dino) and Brian Schwenger (Sabrina); her grandchildren, Sara Battaglia, Julia Battaglia, Joseph Ambrocio, Abigail Schwenger, Evelyn Schwenger, Isabella Schwenger and Aaron Schwenger; and her friend Lyn Lichtner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many wonderful friends.
Burial: Private, In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Catholic Charities USA, 2050 Ballenger Ave, Suite 400, Alexandria, VA. 22314 would be appreciated.
