He was predeceased by: his parents, James A. McKee and Winifred McKee; his wife Elizabeth M. McKee; and his siblings, Ellen Febbo, James McKee, John "Jack" McKee, Ann Matsinger, Margaret Crilly and Jean Molineux (Barry).

He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Watson (Richard) and Mary Ellen Cox (John); his grandchildren, Anthony Cox (Sophie), Nicholas Cox (Meghan), Caroline Levy (Drew) and Lisa Cox; and his great grandchildren, Owen Cox, Hannah Levy, Benjamin Levy, Allie Cox, Brooke Cox and Shelby Cox.
