With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dora E. Scogna (Upper Darby, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 23, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Francis Xavier Duerr; her son Michael Scogna (Soon Hee); her husband Jules V. Scogna; and her brothers, Reimar and Gerhart.

She is survived by: her mother Ella Nittmann; her children, Dora Mead (Scott), Jules Scogna (Kim), John Scogna (Joanne), Nicholas Scogna (Camille), Diana Scogna, Edward Scogna (Bridget) and Judi McGettigan (Neil); her grandchildren, Luke, Daniel, Brianna, Julia, Jules, Gregory, Kristi, Joseph, Cassandra, Dominic, Jeremy, Dora Nicole (Nicki), Lena, Lucas, Avery, Richard, Katie and Sydney; and her great grandchildren, Juliana, Nicolas (Nico), Chistopher (Tito), Anthony, Arden, Iris, Cooper, Joseph and Dora.
