He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Selimis and Kalliope Selimis. He is survived by: his siblings, Alexandros Selimis, Dimitri Selimis, Konstantinos Selimis, Maria Makos and Vasiliki Selimis; his children, Kalliope Demetriades and Georgios Selimis; and his grandchildren, Zoe Demetriades, Eleni Demetriades and Niko Selimis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Upper Darby.
