He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert T. Donohue and Margaret M. Donohue; and his brothers, Robert T. Donohue Jr. and Michael R. Donohue. He is survived by: his daughter Katie Anne Giglio; and his siblings, Margaret "Peggy" Kowalski (John) and Leo T. Donohue (Laura).
He survived many adversities including Covid in 2020.
