He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Tomko and Anna Tomko (Stibrik); and his brothers, John (Martha), Paul (Jackie) and Jim (Mary).
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis (Eibeck); his children, Andrew, Kathleen Kappert (Michael) and Michael (Carrie); his grandchildren, Allison Kappert, Aiden Kappert and Silas Tomko; and his brothers, Richard (Del) and Henry (Leslie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pittsburgh Cremation and Funeral Care (3287 Washington Rd, McMurray, PA 15317). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Capistran (1610 McMillan Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Little Sisters of the Poor.
