It is with sadness that the passing of Elaine Herron of Upper Saint Clair, Pennsylvania is shared. Elaine, born on July 3, 1930, passed away on September 17, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Elaine Herron to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Sepesy and Mary Sepesy (Pavlak); her husband Matthew Carl Herron; her sisters, Mary Lou Konopka and Marlene Herron; and her brothers-in-law, Martin Konopka, Francis Herron, Jim Herron and Andy Pecuch.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Lynn Yancich (Tom) and Bruce Herron (Denise); her grandchildren, Jamie Knizner (Jason), Michael Yancich (Cody), Sean Herron (Abbie), Catherine Sloniewski (Taylor) and Andrew Herron; her great grandchildren, Jack, Sam Herron, Luke Sloniewski, Trey, Kinsley Hickton and Riley Soule (Tyler); her great great grandchild Crew Soule; and her sisters-in-law, Margaret Pecuch and Becky Herron. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peters Township Funeral Home (2828 Washington Rd, McMurray, PA 15317). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
She later became Carl's devoted caretaker following his Parkinson's diagnosis.
