He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick C. Scheib and Thelma Scheib (Montgomery); his parents-in-law, Joseph C. and Rita B. Totten; his brother-in-law Joseph C. Totten, Jr.; and his pets, Molly and Winifred.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Totten Scheib (Bunny); his daughters, Julia Martin (Scott) and Elizabeth "Betsy" Gartner (Joseph); his brothers, Dr. Lawrence A. Collins (Judi) and Dr. Christopher M. Scheib (Antonietta Sculimbrene); his siblings-in-law, Gerard A. Totten (Diane), Terrence M. Totten (Mary Jo), T. Bradley Totten (Colleen) and Cindy Totten (late Joseph C. Totten, Jr.); and his pet Missy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Peters Township Funeral Home (2828 Washington Rd, McMurray, PA 15317). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Capistran Church (1610 McMillan Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15241).
