He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Gibson; his son Christopher Gibson; his grandson Luke Castello; and his parents, George Gibson and Clara Gibson.
He is survived by: his children, Connie Gibson, Jennie Eaton (Jimmy), Doug Gibson (Melissa) and Susan Castello; his grandchildren, Karl (Stephanie), Douglas (Nane), Mary Gibson, Ryan (Kathleen), Evan, Austin Eaton (Jess), Molly, Gordon Gibson and Mindy; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Zachary Gibson and Liam Eaton.
