She is survived by: her children, John E. (Janet), Thomas G. (Mary Jo), Mark J. (Laura) and Richard C. (Holly); her grandchildren, Justin Schmidt (Brittany), Andy Schmidt, Sierra McNew (Nathan), Kevin Schmidt, Jared Schmidt (Stacy Moritz), Janelle Williams (Zachary), Kara Schmidt and Amelia Hammond; her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Josie, Landon, Macie, Charlotte and Hazel; and her brother Anthony G. Staab (Bonnie). She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.

“John, Tom, Mark, Rich, and your loved ones: my heart is with you. It's been a long journey. God bless her life, the joys and sorrows. From the time I was a teenager, Mary Kay was the dancing queen. I never tired of hearing her tell me, in late years, how she danced down the halls to Sinatra. What joy that gave her daily. Funny, as I often change the music cd's in my car, in the days before she passed I was playing Sinatra (rare to do so.) I treasure the times with her. Remembering her fondly.”
