He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Walters Gates; his children, Joshua of Pittsburgh, PA and Abie Livesay; his grandsons, Asher and Eden Livesay of Placerville, CO.; and his sisters, Ginny Emerson (Steve) of Vernon, CT and Lynne Fairley (Jamie) of Tolland, CT.. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
