He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brodmerkel and Pearl Stepp Brodmerkel; and his siblings, Lois Vinney, Nancy Raybold and William Brodmerkel Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Werner Brodmerkel; his sons, Shawn Brodmerkel and James "Jim" Brodmerkel (Donna); and his grandson Lucas Brodmerkel.
