He was predeceased by : his wife Margaret V. Bell (Gerlock); his parents, Mary Helen (Laub) and William K. Bell, Sr.; his son Thomas C. Bell; and his siblings, Robert J. Brady, James Bell, Walter Bell, William K. "Bill" Bell, Jr., Nancy Dubendorf and Erma Bell.

He is survived by : his son John Bell of Reedsville; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Freed Bell, Joyce Stimely Bell of Lewistown and Stephen Gerlock of New Jersey.
