It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Sanford of Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 14, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Robert and Edna Mae Anthony Sanford; his former wife Sharon Blake Sanford; his wife Joan Ashbaugh Sanford; his son Kurt Sanford; his grandson Edward Grinder; and his sisters, Irene Smith, Evelyn Hamilton, Betty Borello, Helen Shute, Sara Curcio and Virginia Womeldorf.
He is survived by: his children, Joi Jeannine Sanford of Vandergrift and Diane Lynn Collier of Vandergrift; his grandchildren, Haley, Emma, Sharon Sanford, Alecia Collier and Jeff White; his great grandchildren, Jayce, Elena, Devon and Dean; his close friend Margaret Hunter; and his sister Shirley Minnich of Leechburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Corridoni Funeral Services (1916 Moore Ave, Apollo, PA 15673). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc. (1916 Moore Ave, Apollo, PA 15673).
