He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley F. Waitkus and Nellie A. Poleski Waitkus; and his siblings, Stephen, Stanley "Stush" Waitkus and Bernice Matonic.
He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Hollenbaugh Waitkus of Vandergrift; his children, Jason Facemyer of Vandergrift and Carrie Facemyer (Mike Stewart) of Avonmore; and his brother Joseph Waitkus (Kathleen) of Fairmont, WV. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
