With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Velma Egley of Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Velma had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Velma may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Murry A. Miller and Dorothy Porter Miller; her children, Gerald Swarmer and Janet Moyle; her siblings, William, Richard Miller, Betty Miller Silvis and Patricia Miller Mullen; and her great great grandchild Brooke Moyle.
She is survived by: her son Duane Swarmer of Washington Township, Eight. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunmire-Kerr & Rowe Funeral Home, Inc. (244 Franklin Ave, Vandergrift, PA 15690). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 8:00 PM at the Kerr & Rowe Funeral Home, Inc. (244 Franklin Ave, Vandergrift, PA 15690).
