He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hanshaw and Irene Hanshaw (Curry); his brother Carl Hanshaw; and his great-niece Reese Hanshaw. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hanshaw (Hawkey); his children, Jim Hanshaw (Ivy), Michael Hanshaw (Diana), Tammy Wakefield (Johnny) and Dawn Ann Thompson (Ray); his siblings, Wilbert Hanshaw (Betty), Caroline Stone (Ron) and Linda Stephens; his grandchildren, Austin Hanshaw (Dianna), Noah Hanshaw, Bonny, Johnny Jr. Wakefield, Breanna, Jason Hanshaw, Timothy, Chris, Grace Thompson, Wesley and Kelci Yeager; and his great grandchildren, Mary Jane, Lily, Eleanor, Sapphire and Daemon. He is also survived by neighbors, and bingo friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Noll Funeral Home Inc. (333 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009). A Mass was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Saints Peter and Paul Church (200 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009).
