It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth McGuire of Vanport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Borghini and Mary Shost Borghini; her husband Jack McGuire; her brother Peter Borghini Jr.; and her granddaughter Abby Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn McGuire-Oizak (Mike), Mary Rapp (Scott) and John McGuire (Betty); her grandchildren, Derek, Sam, Rachel Schmidt, Kristy, Kelly Rapp, Katie Fraudin (Ben), Brian and Kevin McGuire (Sarah); and her great grandchildren, Rowan, Lucy, Hailey, Jack, Troy, Max and Isabella. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Noll Funeral Home (333 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church (200 3rd St, Beaver, PA 15009).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Joann's name at Our Lady of the Valley Parish, Saints Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church.
