He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Owens and Elva Owens; and his siblings, Evelyn McDivitt, Joan Patton and Edward T. "Buster" Owens (Dorothy Tressler).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Freeman Owens; his children, Ada Youk (John H. Youk Jr.), Grandpap, Patrick R. Owens III (Laura Owens), Magdalen Owens (Maggie), Casey Youk, John Henry Youk III and Anna Youk; his sister Charmaine Triplett (Big Sis); and his siblings-in-law, Dutch Triplett, Jack Dunn, MaryAnn Dunn (Bam) and Donna Young (late Jack Young). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Our Lady of the Valley Parish (Saints Peter and Paul Church), the Disabled Veterans or St. Jude.
