With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Penny Lynn Sappington of Venetia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 59. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Penny Lynn Sappington to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father David Jerome Sappington; her aunt Barbara Carroll; her uncle Van Butler; and her niece Tiara Butler. She is survived by: her daughter Dulce Sappington; her mother Brenda Sappington (Butler); her brothers, David Jerome Sappington Ill (Tamala) and Mitchell Lee Butler (Shirley); her aunts, Virginia Duppins and Sandra Hooper; her uncle Wilbur Butler Jr.; and her pets, Gerdie, Persephone, Ecmo and Gatsby. She is also survived by two nieces, one nephew, four great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Homes (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
