She is survived by: her daughter Dulce Sappington; her mother Brenda Sappington (Butler); her brothers, David Jerome Sappington Ill (Tamala) and Mitchell Lee Butler (Shirley); her aunts, Virginia Duppins and Sandra Hooper; her uncle Wilbur Butler Jr.; and her pets, Gerdie, Persephone, Ecmo and Gatsby. She is also survived by two nieces, one nephew, four great-nieces, and one great-nephew.
