Concetta Cassano Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 12, 2025, Concetta Cassano of Verona, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Concetta farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Concetta is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Cassano and Angeline DeSanto; and her siblings, Carmella Scholtz (Paul) and Vincent Cassano. She is survived by: her brother Anthony Cassano (Helen); her sibling's children, Paula Yobp, Jimmy Scholtz (Maria) and Margaret Wertz (Dan); and her pet Koogie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the English Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (378 Maryland Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Church (Holy Family Parish) (825 2nd St, Verona, PA 15147).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Connie's name to St. Joseph Church in Verona, PA.
