We bid farewell to Grace Karakatsanis of Verona, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 15, 2025 at the age of 78. Grace touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nikolaos Kouknas and Aggeliki Kouknas (Psalikoura); her sibling Apostolos Kouknas; and also Kostantinos Karakatsanis (Venus). She is survived by: her husband Paraskevas (Perry); her daughters, Smaro (William), Angela (Ryan) and Yiayia; her grandchildren, Grammatiki, Paraskevas and Zacharias; her brother John Kouknas (Mari); and her nieces and nephews, Niko, Andreas Kouknas, Angela Schafer (Robert), Athina Mourselas (Dean), Vasili Karakatsanis (Dimitra), Smaro Karakatsani, Kostantinos Iatrou and Antella Marketaki (Sifis).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church (12 Washington Ave, Oakmont, PA 15139).
