It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edward Heid of Verona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 3, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Edward Heid and Mary Jane Heid (Beck); his former wife Lillian Eugena Heid (Snyder); and his siblings, Charles Fredrick Heid, Mary Jane Davis (Heid) and David Robert Heid.
He is survived by: his pets, Tuffy and Rebel; his grandchildren, Archie and Jackie; his wife Evelyn Coleman Heid; his daughter Linda Newcomer (Jeff); his granddaughters, Jacqueline McDade and Chelsea McDade McCarrick (Richard); and his stepchildren, Betty Joe Lantzy (Coleman), Mary Lynn Xenophon (Coleman) and Joseph Douglas Coleman (Barbara Cosgrove). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
