Samuel C. LoVerde Obituary
We announce the death of Samuel C. LoVerde of Verona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 95. Samuel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph LoVerde and Hazel LoVerde; his wife Mary "Betty" LoVerde; his son-in-law Doug Vizzini; and his siblings, Marceline Warner, Stella Buechel and Joseph LoVerde.
He is survived by: his children, Joseph LoVerde, Ronald LoVerde (Lisa), Linda Vizzini (late Doug) and Richard LoVerde (Patricia); his grandchildren, Chase (Anna Nowaczyk), Bianca (Josh Surkosky), Valerie (Dan Scalise), Christopher (Antoniette), Garrett (Callen), Emily (Brady Mullis), Maggie (Arie Yoder), Ian (Jennifer), Samantha and Christian (Lacey); and his great grandchildren, Gino, Findley, Nicholas, Charli, Nathan, Leo, Gabriel and Sophia. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the William Slater II Funeral Service (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220).
