He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schoffstall and Beatrice Schoffstall (Kinney); and his sister Janice Genco. He is survived by: his wife Constance P. Schoffstall (Kaminski); his children, Lisa Szanca (David), Mark LeDonne, Heather LeDonne, Megan LeDonne, Shane, Addison and Olive; and his siblings, Thomas Schoffstall (Doris), Margaret Bork, Charles Schoffstall and Beatrice Wasielewski. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home (216 44th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
