He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Michaels and Mary Michaels (Hollenbaugh); his son Roger Alan; and his brothers, Harold, Lloyd and Clifford.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene (Frantz); his children, Carl of Jackson Twp and Ann Fletcher of Arizona; his grandchildren, Blake, Bradley Michaels, Samantha Stevanus, Joshua, Tristian and Tessa DelaCruz; his siblings, William Michaels, Catherine Cook and Cecelia Hess; and his close friend Bill Aughinbaugh of Gary's Garage. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous brothers in law and sisters in law.
