She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Johnson; her parents, William Whitaker and Marie Whitaker; and her sister Gail Whitaker. She is survived by: her sons, Michael David Johnson (Madeline) of Newark, DE and Andrew William Johnson (Amy) of Wallingford, PA; and her brother William T. Whitaker (Teresita) of Harlem, NY. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and many lifelong friends.
