We announce the death of John J. Wood Sr. (Wallingford, Pennsylvania), born in Essington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 7, 2026, at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wood and Marie Wood; his wife Maureen Wood; and his siblings, Alice Buck, Anne Hummel, William, Francis and Charles Wood.
He is survived by: his sister Lucy Buck; his children, Judith Aydelotte (Bob) and John Jr. (Carol); his grandchildren, Shanna Aydelotte (Andrew), Corrie Stein (Jarrod) and Brian Wood (Katelyn); and his great grandchildren, Jameson, Owen, Colin and Jack.
