She was predeceased by: her husband Robert R. Kuhns; her parents, Edward J. Metzger and Elizabeth Metzger (Oswald); her son Jeffrey R. Kuhns; and her siblings, Clair, Wilbur, Evelyn, Arlene and Mildred.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara J. Rechtor (Dennis) and Donna F. Shollenberger (Jack) of Palmerton; and her daughter-in-law Lucille W. Kuhns (Rothroth) of Slatington. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandson.
