It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph J. Kanas Jr. of Walnutport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph J., Sr. and Hattie Kanas (Reitz); and his daughter Sherrie A. Smith. He is survived by: his wife Carol H. Kanas (Miller); his daughter Jennifer (Tony Bauer) of Lehigh Township; and his grandchildren, Eric, Amy and Aaron.
