She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Fries and Isabel Fries (Troller); her husband Richard Heist; her son David Heist; and her sister Barbara Clauser.

She is survived by: her daughter Karen (Gary Hammer) of Bath; her daughter-in-law Susan Heist of Slatington; her grandchildren, Allison (Kyle Love), Kylee (Tyler Jones), Eric Hammer and Brandon Heist; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Lillian Love; and her sister Joanne Stout of Palmerton.

Memorial Contributions may be made in her honor to the American Diabetes Association, care of the funeral home.
