He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Arnold and Dollie Osler Arnold; his wife Veronica Vaji; his children, Barbara Tomick and James Arnold; his grandsons, David Long and Michael Long; his siblings, Ernest Arnold, Sevilla Gibson and Norma Jean Springer; and his stepchildren, Walter Vaji and Helen Morris.
He is survived by: his children, Robert E. Arnold, Jr. (Nola Marie Bryner) of Waltersburg and Donna Daniels of Uniontown; his grandchildren, Lisa Brennan and Jamie Labin; his stepdaughter Rose Marie Veatch; and his close friends, Harry Savage and Brian Reese. He is also survived by several other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
