She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester L. Wehr and Dorothy Sheiver Wehr; her husband Howard D. Chappell; her son Donnie; her grandsons, Stephen Goebel, Jason and Richard Chappell Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Alice Kelly and Robert Wehr.

She is survived by : her children, Doug (Lois) of New Castle, Harold (Vivian) of Salem, OH, Richard of Wampum, Ron Chappell (Dixie) of Wampum and Karen Goebel of Wampum; and her brother Roy Wehr of Plant City, FL.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Chewton Christian Church or the Chewton Fire Department.
