She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold "Hap" Slusser and Arlene Slusser (Painter); her husband Leroy A. Hess; her daughter Cindy L. Shoemaker; and her brother Harold "Ned" Slusser.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela J. Harker (Leon) of Wapwallopen and Holly L. O'Brien (Patrick) of Berwick; her grandchildren, Stevie, Scott, Sean, Cherish, Lacey and Laura; her great grandchildren, Kendra, Cheyanne, Paul Jr. "PJ", Allen, Catherine, Jasmine, Cassandra, Brody, Olivia, Oliver and Otto; her sister Connie Louise Viers of White Haven; and her son-in-law Steve Shoemaker of Nescopeck. She is also survived by seven great-great-grandchildren.
