With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry A. Chapin of Wapwallopen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 3, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Chapin, and Mabel Chapin, Sr. (Andress); his wife Genevieve "Pat" Chapin (Baucher); and his siblings, Harriet Chapin, Edna Wenner, Edith Sigfreid, Beatrice Miller, Howard Chapin, Harold Chapin, Fred Chapin Jr. and Richard Chapin.
He is survived by: his son David Chapin (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Michael, Tabitha, Natasha and Brooke; his brother Ralph Chapin (Gloria) of Ephrata, PA; his close friend Judy Schnerr; Wendy Schnerr of South Port, NC, Susie Spaide (Jim), Larry Schnerr Jr. (Peggy), Laurie Dreher (Scott), Hannah, Larry III, Cody, Brittany, Scott and Pierce. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
