She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hendershot and Marie Fischer Hendershot; her husband Billy Lee Ward; her sons, Stuart L. Ward and Steven C. Ward; and her siblings, Norma L. Ward, Glenn D. Hendershot and Sylvan L. Hendershot.
She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Ward of Warfordsburg, PA; her brother Gerald L. Hendershot (Marcia) of Warfordsburg, PA; and her daughter-in-law Rebecca of The Villages. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (200 Douglas Ave, Hancock, MD 21750). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at the Buck Valley Methodist Cemetery (6600 Buck Valley Rd, Warfordsburg, PA 17267).
