She was predeceased by: her parents, Merrill Sitler and Mildred Sitler; and her husband Patrick J. Flaherty, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Marnien-Fogle (John), Mary Elizabeth'Marybeth'Smith (Franklin), Michael Flaherty (Dolores 'Lori'), Nan Cogan (Mark), Margaret'Peggy'Kendrick (Daniel), Patrick J. Flaherty, Jr. (Donna) and Joseph Flaherty. She is also survived by her nephew, his wife and two children and two cousins.
