She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Merle; and her sister Diana Silverman (Sherer). She is survived by: her sister Nancy S. Drew; her nephew Daniel J. Barringer (Denise); and her nieces, Leslie Barringer, Dana Lauer (Jim) and Renee Silverman.
