He is survived by: his wife Patricia Schaefer (Gorman); his children, Susie Fischer (Steve), John Schaefer (Kimmi) and Steve Schaefer (Maura); and his grandchildren, Katie, Tim Fischer, Ryan, Andrew Schaefer, Brendan, Matthew and Patrick Schaefer.
