He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred W. Shattuck and Martha Mathis Shattuck; and his brothers, Fred "Ted" Shattuck and Paul E. Shattuck. He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Phanco Shattuck; his children, Linda Gebhardt (Tad), Tammy Jensen (Bart), Debra Swanson (Scott), Michael Natale (Patricia) and Jason Shattuck (Tara); and his pet Jake. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions to be made to the American Red Cross 305 Market St. Warren, PA, or to Paws Along the River, 212 Elm St. warren, PA, 16365.
