He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burford and Sylvia "Louise" Cathcart Burford. He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Burford of Scandia and Jane McCarthy of Virginia; and his nephews, Forrest Burford, Brian and Scott McCarthy. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
